Rotary International Foundation

The mission of the Rotary (International) Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.  There are six areas of focus which Rotary International has deemed as vital in order to accomplish these goals.  They are:

1)  Water & Sanitation  (it is estimated that for a cost of $11.3 bilion there will be an economic benefit to our planet of $84.4 billion)

2)  Economic & Community Development

3)  Disease Prevention & Treatment

4)  Maternal & Child Health

5)  Basic Education & Literacy

6)  Peace & Conflict Prevention/Resolution

Contributions to the Rotary International Foundation are tax deductible.  An easy way to contribute is through TRF Direct.  This allows you the ability to have a fixed amount taken from either your checking/savings account, or from a credit card.  For more information on this or other Rotary Foundation programs, please contact our local foundation chair (Wenatchee Sunrise Rotarian Rani Sampson), or Charlie Arvidson at 509-846-0580 or jcarvid@ncidata.com.
